I love this house because of the deer and the giant pine tree. Pine trees used to be in front of everyone's house when I was young. Now a tree is so rare. The deer of course is why I took the picture in the first place; the juxtaposition of the urban landscape, and the still deer. At first I thought it was ironic, and now I think it is a sad reminder of lost time, when people had time to care. But at the same time I often think figures like this are like good luck charms and ward away any harm.
