I haven't read a real novel in a long time. And I decided I would read a best seller. I read The Corrections, a great title for a waspy drama. At first I was put off by the beginning and thought I was reading tripe, then I read on and got really into his perfect descriptions of depression and family dynamics. I enjoyed it and wonder if I have it in me to read more about these people who are assholes but are somewhat enjoyable to read about. The book has great modern settings, houses, apartments, townhouses, restaurants. It has a great sense of place.
